Silhouette Dreams

…In the haze that is the state between sleep and wakefulness, in the fog that obscures the delicate line between the conscious and the subconscious, the dreamer and the dream:

The blackness blinds and the light steps into shadow.

What is the haze in her eyes as the dreamer clambers up from the depths of a dream?  As he tunnels from wakefulness to sleep, what is the glowing light that brings a paralyzing clarity amidst a dense fog?

When they dream together, do their lives slip away like yesterday’s craven shadows? When they wake from sleep, from the dream that is neither real nor fantastical, do they recall their journey?  Or does it only hang in the air like the scent of last night’s perfume, a shade of what once was…

They trace the outlines of their memories, searching to fill them with silhouette dreams.
